Show Notes
Looking for a specific question in the episode?
We’ve made it easy by providing the questions we asked in the show and where you can find them.
Question #1 – As you well know, there are many car shows in the southeast for Corvette owners, car enthusiasts, and families to attend, particularly in the Spring. What makes SuperVette Saturday (SVS) so special? And why should people mark this particular car show on May 6th on their calendars? Located at the 2:44 second mark.
Question #2 – Speaking of the charities and organizations that CGCC supports, how much money did you raise at last year’s SVS? And, can you name some of the charities the club supports? Located at the 5:16 second mark.
Question #3 – I understand that last year, SVS had something like 267 Corvettes. What’s the expectation for this year? How many people typically come? Located at the 6:13 second mark.
Question #4 – It’s always amazing to see how you park so many Corvettes in an efficient manner. Is it random parking as the cars enter the show, or do you park by generation? And why? Located at the 7:57 second mark.
Question #5 – In addition to a C1 to C8 judges’ award, I see you have a Modified judges’ category. What does that mean? How would you define Modified? Located at the 10:16 second mark.
Question #6 – Can you give a teaser on what vendors or sponsors might be participating in this year’s show? And are you planning on offering commemorative shirts? Located at the 11:44 second mark.
Question #7 – Speaking of vendors and sponsors, are we needing more? If so, how do they reach out to us? Located at the 13:11 mark.
Question #8- This is all great info. Thank you, but how/where do I register for SuperVette Saturday? Located at the 13:56 mark.
Question #9 – Day’s Chevrolet in Acworth, Ga, has been home to SuperVette Saturday for many years. How important is Day’s Chevrolet to the overall show? Located at the 14:49 mark.
Question #10 – Last question. Classic Glass Corvette Club is celebrating 40 years as a club in 2023, with the club formed in 1983. What does that mean to you? Located at the 20:29 mark.
