Throughout 2020 the Georgia Cool Cruisers have drawn sizeable crowds to their cruise-in car shows benefiting various charities. On Saturday, December 5th, they may have outdone themselves.
The 13th annual “Toys for Tots” at the Cue restaurant was so successful that it literally took up every parking spot in the small shopping center. When someone did leave, there was a thankful person eager to fill their parking space.
It was like that for the entire event from 11 am to 3 pm. We can’t imagine the Cue restaurant at 5260 Peachtree Industrial Blvd ever had a crowd like this show up.

Ted Marcus Gives Back
If there is a car show benefiting a charity in Atlanta, chances are, that Corvettes will be well represented. Not only do Corvette owners attend the events, but they are often sponsors as well. Such was the case here.
In the photo above, you see Ted Marcus standing beside his 2017 Black Rose Grand Sport holding a sponsorship plaque for this event. When we asked him about the plaque, he said, “Georgia Cool Cruisers is always raising money for good causes. I like to help out by giving them car washes to raffle.”
“For Valentine’s Day, I’m going to donate a detail for them to raffle off. I’m a car person, love cars, car shows, and this club has the right idea about giving back.”
We couldn’t agree with him more. Thank you, Ted, for stepping up to support local car shows and the Corvette lifestyle!
Here is more information about Ted’s business. Mammoth Hand Car Wash & Detail Salon at 4050 Holcomb Bridge Road, Peachtree Corners, 678-948-5011.

The Cue Delivers
2020 has been a tough year economically for small businesses and restaurants alike. We really appreciate the Cue restaurant for stepping up to host events at their venue this year.
The first event we covered this year was Red, White & Cue – 4th of July Car Show. Usually, easy access to good food is an issue for most car shows but not the case here.
The Cue restaurant makes everything from scratch. They change the menu by utilizing locally grown fruits and vegetables and bringing in some unique beers and inspiring wines.
We have to believe the good food is one of the major draws of this event. It is for us.

Thank You Georgia Cool Cruisers!
The Georgia Cool Cruisers always seem to draw a diverse range of show cars to their events. This show brought in rat rods, custom trucks, exotics, and of course, many Corvettes.
As difficult as 2020 has been, we appreciate Rick Ellis and everyone at Georgia Cool Cruisers for all they’ve done. Their charity-focused car shows have provided a much need diversion for so many of us this year.
This standing-room-only event at the Cue was certainly no exception.
