We witnessed the horsepower of philanthropy in action at the 13th Annual Corvettes and Camaros for a Cause Charity Car Show, hosted by the Corvette Cruisers of Atlanta (CCA).

On a picture-perfect Saturday, October 4, 2025, 70 Corvettes and 28 Camaros rolled into their new car show location at the Hudgens Center for Art and Learning in Duluth, Georgia.

The event maintained high energy throughout the day, thanks to the music spun by the “Wulf-Man,” Bob & Sue Wulf, and the efficient logistics of the new venue. This event was driven by a powerful charitable mission.

The CCA, a socially active club driven by a passion for Vettes and a commitment to community, successfully raised vital funds for two truly life-changing charities: Beyond the Ribbon, Inc. and The Next Stop Foundation.

Seeing clubs like the Mid-Alabama Corvette Club and American Dream Vette Club drive in to support the event confirms the dedication of the Corvette family.

The CCA affirmed its status as a significant force for good in the Atlanta area, channeling a shared love of speed and style into tangible community help.

Where Art and Horsepower Meet: A Look at The Hudgens Center

We love showcasing the incredible automotive art of the Corvette at our car shows, and the picturesque Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for Art & Learning was an ideal host.

This Duluth, Georgia, non-profit is a vibrant hub for the greater Atlanta area, dedicated to encouraging everyone to understand and participate in the arts. Walking the grounds, you quickly realize the creativity extends beyond the cars.

Executive Director Laura Ballance and her team fill the five galleries with constantly rotating exhibitions, featuring everything from paintings and pottery to sculpture by local, national, and even international artists.

They offer year-round classes in various media for all ages and skill levels, including fun “Paint and Sip” workshops.

The Hudgens Center truly shines with its commitment to community, offering special programs like “Healing Arts”—a free, therapeutic artistic outlet for cancer patients and people with disabilities—and the smART Honors Program for high schoolers.

Even outside, the award-winning Al Weeks Sculpture Garden provides a serene setting, complete with a KOI pond. The center plays a vital role in building and preserving the community’s cultural identity.

Stop by for a visit—it’s a wonderful experience!

Fueling Hope: The Corvette Community Drives Beyond the Ribbon

The Corvette Cruisers of Atlanta consistently choose impactful organizations to support, and we are pleased to see Beyond the Ribbon, Inc. as one of their primary annual charities.

Founded in 2013 by breast cancer survivor Bobbie Menneg, this Georgia non-profit tackles the truth that a cancer journey does not end when the treatment bell rings.

Bobbie and her team work tirelessly to advocate for support and resources well beyond the diagnosis, recognizing that days after treatment can be taxing. They provide essential, real-world support, helping patients and their families cover serious needs like rent, mortgage, and utility payments.

Their creative programs, like the comforting Journey Bags for the newly diagnosed and Jane’s Closet (which provides wigs and hats), are notable.

When you stop by their table at an event, you immediately sense the passion that drives their mission: to educate, inspire hope, and empower individuals.

Beyond the Ribbon helps people focus on their victory, not just the medical fight, and they teach patients how to become their own best advocates.

Their presence at the Corvette show helped distribute information and reminded attendees that our car community actively supports this crucial work.

Giving Back: Why The Next Stop Foundation Matters to the Corvette Community

It is a reality that when adults with special needs turn 22, traditional school support often ceases, leaving them to face a tough, limited transition into adulthood. This can often lead to isolation, unproductivity, and loneliness.

The people at The Next Stop Foundation step up to meet this challenge.

Their vision is to bring adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities together in a fun, structured, and supportive setting where they can truly thrive.

This Georgia non-profit was a special guest at the recent car show and is changing lives by giving members a chance to socialize, enjoy recreation, and learn vital life skills alongside their peers.

Located inside the Suwanee Sports Academy, The Next Stop runs engaging afternoon programs three days a week—Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays—complete with their own residential kitchen and access to the gym and walking path.

Their day is carefully structured into four components: social engagement, a hands-on cooking session, essential recreation time, and a final social/enrichment hour. This supportive environment, guided by an occupational therapist and dedicated volunteers, fosters independence, encourages leadership, and provides a sense of belonging.

The Corvette Cruisers of Atlanta recognized this profound need, dedicating a portion of their event proceeds to help The Next Stop bridge the funding gap, ensuring this important work continues.

The Fuel of Philanthropy: Celebrating Our Generous Sponsors

The success of the 13th Annual Corvettes & Camaros for a Cause event was driven by the powerful spirit of community and the great support of its sponsors.

We know that giving back is the core mission of the Corvette Cruisers of Atlanta, and it is inspiring to see so many businesses, families, and clubs join that mission.

We are grateful to the corporate partners, including Global Electronic Services, Foster & Witmer Ins Agency, Global Tires, Perimeter Roofing, and Three-Fold Chiropractic, for providing the foundation for our charitable work.

This local involvement demonstrates their deep care for the community.

The heart of the car community was also on full display with contributions from dedicated enthusiasts: the Fisher Family, The Palumbo Family, and The Corvette Wingmen.

The event could not achieve its reach without the backing of our fellow car clubs, including the All American Camaro & Firebird Association, Mid-Alabama Corvette Club, Vets with Vettes And Corvette Owners, Lanier Corvettes Unlimited, and the Peach State Corvette Association.

Every sponsor, from major businesses to dedicated car clubs, played a critical role in showing that when the Corvette family unites, they become an effective force for good.
