Annual Corvette Cruisers Of Atlanta Show Delivers Twice The Fun

Double your pleasure, double your fun.

Maybe back in 1914, the Wrigley company was on to something with their catchy Spearmint gum phrase.

What we do know is that when Corvette Cruisers of Atlanta (CCA) started inviting Camaros to be a part of their annual show, the fun doubled.

CCA has a long, and well-respected history of hosting great car shows in Atlanta. Thankfully that tradition continues today with local Camaro owners joining in on the excitement.

While it’s all one event, one big charity-driven celebration, their awards presentation is split right down the middle. Half of the trophies go to Corvettes and a half to Camaros.

Huge Camaro Turnout

Last year was the first year of adding the Camaro moniker to the perennial show. As was expected for the first outing, the turnout was slight but enthusiastic.

This year was a different story entirely, the floodgates opened up with several driving in from out of state.

Clearly, the word about this top-notch show reached the four corners of Atlanta and beyond. While impressive in sheer turnout numbers, the diversity and quality were a Camaro lover’s dream.

Hoping to feast your eyes on an ultra-rare 2022 650 hp ZL1 1LE? It was here in all its taunt, muscular glory.

Theme-styled customs more to your liking? There were several of the top ones in the state available for you to enjoy.

In one fell swoop, this CCA gathering has meteorically risen to be one of the must-attend Camaro gatherings in Atlanta.

Table Full Of Trophies

There are trophy presentations, and then there are TROPHY PRESENTATIONS. Corvette Cruisers of Atlanta is firmly in the latter category.

The table was straining to hold over 50 awards and trophies that were going to be given out. To that end, the club’s independent judges were out in force scouring the grounds for the best examples in each category.

Did we mention that dash plaques went to the first 100 registered? We should have because there was also a 50/50 raffle, food, and much more.

They even had “Wulf Man”, Bob Wulf, in the house spinning your favorite tunes for your listening pleasure.

To make life easier, this club uses the “Driven to Show” system created by IT programming guru, Nick Gins. If you’ve never seen this system in action, you’ll be amazed at the time you save in tabulating results.

We would also be remiss if we didn’t mention the gracious hospitality of this club. At every turn, there was a smiling “Pit Crew” club member willing to assist. That alone meant a great deal to those in attendance.

As is always the case with CCA, their heart is focused on giving to local charities in need. Chief among their list of charities this year is the Shadow Warrior Foundation and the Parkwood Farms Therapy Center.

If you didn’t have fun on October 8th, 2022 between 9:00 am to 2 pm, it means you probably weren’t here at this event. You should change that for next year.

You deserve twice the fun.
