Sunshine Brings Out Cool Cars To Briscoe Park In 2021

The first day of Spring 2021 brought with it abundant sunshine, a vintage hot rod car show, and lots of family-friendly fun. The Georgia Cool Cruisers club rolled into Snellville’s Briscoe Park and put on a classic car show that thrilled the packed crowd.

With the park’s six-acre lake as a backdrop, oldies music from the loudspeakers put everyone in an upbeat car show mood. As is often the case with a show hosted by Rick Ellis and the Georgia Cool Cruisers, getting there early was the key to snagging a good parking spot.

The Corvette faithful were out in force to represent the brand. The sun’s rays shimmered and danced across their pristine chariots of fire.

Planned PEThood

Supporting various charitable organizations in the local community is always a part of a Georgia Cool Cruisers event. This show was to be no exception.

Planned PEThood from Duluth was one of the recipients of this show’s generosity. The mission of this pet clinic is to help pets and the people who care for them. They do that by providing innovative programs and affordable services that save lives.

Planned PEThood’s veterinary team handles in-house evaluations and treatments, including spay/neuter. Services include treatments for illnesses and injuries, routine wellness care, testing and vaccinations, and heartworm treatments.

With this team in place, healthy animals are vetted and sterilized before adoption, allowing the adoption of some animals the same day.

Finding Your Next Vette

If you’ve got a Corvette, chances are you always have an eye out for the next one. One valuable resource you may not have considered is Streetside Classics.

In between looking at beautiful Vettes, we got a chance to talk to Jimmy Ethridge, the consignment manager for the Atlanta location. Their Atlanta showroom has a staggering 78,000 sq ft.

No wonder it is the largest of all the six Streetside Classics locations by showroom size.

The facility opened in 2010 and has hundreds of classic cars for sale. They range from classic cars to street rods, muscle cars, vintage cars, resto-mods, classic trucks, and the latest exotics or supercars.

Whether you’re searching for your next “garage queen” or looking to sell what you have, Streetside Classics is an option you should consider.

Great Start To Spring

If you long for a good old-fashion car show, then you should pay attention to the events page of the hard-working Georgia Cool Cruisers. Their next event is titled Cool Rides & Rescues and it’s on April 11th at the Decatur Estates Antiques Mall.

The Briscoe Park car show in Snellville was a great way to celebrate the vernal equinox.

Hats off once again to Rick Ellis and everyone at Georgia Cool Cruisers for getting the Spring car show season off on the right foot. This one was great fun!
