Daniel Deemer – Dealer Operator & General Manager – Day’s Chevrolet.
Leave it to Classic Glass Corvette Club of Marietta to combine two significant events into one memorable show.
For 2025, the club’s talented event team combined their 41st Annual SuperVette Saturday All-Corvette car show with the 66th anniversary celebration of Day’s Chevrolet in Acworth. The results were spot on.
For decades, Day’s Chevrolet has graciously cleared its inventory of vehicles from its showroom and main parking lot to make room for this single-day event. We can’t imagine the coordination and manpower required to move all those vehicles.
Honestly, though, it should come as no surprise. Those in the area know this Chevrolet dealership values relationships and supports Corvette enthusiasts.
It was also no surprise that this fun day of celebration went off without a hitch. This is a testament to the hard-working events team and its dedicated Show Manager, Steven Cassaniti.
In amongst the day’s many festivities, we found a moment to pull Steven aside to learn more about this event.

Another Great SuperVette Saturday
Rod Worley – Editor – Steven, congratulations to you and your enthusiastic show team on another successful event at Day’s Chevrolet.
Of the many areas you could highlight, what stands out to you?
Steven Cassaniti – Show Manager – –Thanks Rod. One memory that I will take away from this show is that despite the periodic rain, 19 out of the 20 businesses who agreed to participate in SuperVette Saturday did indeed show-up and did the best they could to promote their products and services.
This was, by far, the most companies that our club has ever assembled for a car show. And we had such a good mix of businesses represented too– from auto performance to insurance to garage flooring, home improvement services and even a dog rescue organization.
We even had a towing service bring his wrecker to show-off and answer questions. I’m so proud of our Partners, Sponsors and Vendors who came out. They are the financial lifeblood of our car shows and allow us to generously support our charities.
Most of them are well aware of the reputation SuperVette Saturday has throughout the community and were eager to be a part of the show.
Another highlight was displaying the C1s in the showroom. We had some awesome looking Corvettes in the parking lot, but the four Corvettes glimmering under the lights in the showroom were the stars of the show; and they complemented this year’s theme nicely to celebrate Day’s Chevrolet’s 66th anniversary.
One C1 owner even trailered his car from middle Tennessee to be a part of the day’s festivities. Lastly, presenting the gigantic Day’s Chevrolet anniversary card
signed by so many to Owner Daniel Diemer was memorable.
He seemed genuinely touched particularly as he and his son were looking through family photographs.
All in all, and despite the rain, the show was well organized and went off without a major hitch. The “green team” was ready with contingency plans for our businesses and for the scheduled activities; and food and drink were plentiful.
Was it perfect– no, but as my first year as Show Manager, I’m learning and have high hopes that next year will be even better.
We’re already talking about a SuperVette Saturday 2026 theme. How about this? Let’s celebrate those modified Corvettes with “It’s a Mod, Mod, Mod World”!

VetteStock Up Next
Rod Worley – Editor – Steven, your attention will undoubtedly turn to the club’s VetteStock fall classic. Can you give us an event overview for those who haven’t attended in the past?
Steven Cassaniti – Show Manager – Thanks Rod. VetteStock is our second all-Corvette car show of the year. This will be our 23rd show.
Classic Glass holds VetteStock in the fall. This year’s date is Saturday, September 20th. Same location as last year– Hudson Grille in Kennesaw, right off Interstate 75.
The show is a bit smaller in scope than SuperVette Saturday but no less enthusiastic. We’ll typically have around 125 Corvettes. Hudson Grille opens early that day to serve lunch, so we don’t have to worry about hiring food trucks.
We’ll have vendors present, one or two raffles, an auction, a DJ/MC spinning music. The show culminates with an awards ceremony giving out 23 trophies/plaques and recognizing our supporters.
Different from SuperVette, all the net proceeds go to support the National Corvette Museum. It’s a lot of fun and certainly worthy to add to any Corvette enthusiast’s car show calendar.

Always Appreciated
Keeping a tradition like SuperVette Saturday going for 41 years is a milestone worth celebrating on its own merit. You reach a point where the event becomes a generational rite of passage within the Classic Class Corvette Club.
“We’ve always had SuperVette Saturday, and we always will,” is much easier said than done as the years roll by. It takes months of prep, countless meetings, a dedicated team, and a Show Manager willing to devote hours/days/weeks to a single-day event.
That’s a tall order in anyone’s book. So, from all of us who drive America’s Sports Car, thank you, Classic Glass. We sincerely appreciate the results of your hard work.
And to Day’s Chevrolet in Acworth, none of this would be possible without them. It’s not just the immense parking lot or the facilities they provide; it’s the shared love for the Corvette brand and the camaraderie they extend to all of us.
Here’s looking forward to next year’s 42nd annual event!
